It was a musical for the benefit of San Roque Parish Church, it is under construction and the parochial together with the whole diocese are creating ways in order to finish the whole church and later turn to a basilica.
My parents were the lucky ones who were able to sponsor the said musical variety that showcase the talents of our celebrity looking priests and our beloved Bishop Luis 'Chito' Tagle too! We were so entailed by their singing and dancing prowess!
It was a huge success! a lot were able to contribute and so many constituents bought tickets for the show! To what I heard, the church were able to accumulate 2 million pesos from the sponsorship and ticket sells. And another catch for the show was that they invited Wilma Doesnt to host the evening and Jimmy Bondoc to do some series of songs which made the young ladies so happy and kilig! :D

i think it's a great idea to have a fundraising like that, instead of asking for additional offering every sunday.

That's a great way for a fund raising. I remember joining a concert for our church when I was younger.
